We’ve got that loving feeling at The Alphabet Gift Shop, and to celebrate Valentines Day, we’re holding a “Lottery of Love!”
From the 1st to 14th February every customer is guaranteed to receive a discount off their purchases every time they shop.
The Lottery of Love will open on Wednesday 1st February and for every purchase you make in either The Alphabet Gift Shop or at Alphabet Interiors (behind Burnaston Garage) you will be asked to choose a Lottery of Love ticket. Every ticket will have a percentage amount that will be discounted from the total of your purchases.
It could be any amount of discount up to a maximum of 50% and on Valentine’s Day itself there will be one very special 100% discount ticket – which would mean FREE shopping for the lucky winner!
Love is in the air and everyone’s a winner on the Lottery of Love!

Back in May we told you about The Alphabet Gift Shop’s new baby “Alphabet Interiors”. Well we are pleased to announce work is nearly complete! Our new unit at Burnaston is being transformed into a fabulous interiors showroom. We would love you to join us on 15th and 16th October for our preview weekend from 10:30- 4:00pm. Come and celebrate with us the opening of Alphabet Interiors, there will be refreshment’s and a free gift for every visitor! To tempt you even further we will be providing daily blog and facebook updates, with sneaky peaks at our progress on the run up to the opening.

Thanks to everyone who visited our stand at the Fabulous Places Summer Food and Gift Fair last weekend at Derby’s Roundhouse. Deb (Fab Places) very kindly placed us right in the middle of the food stalls – we were surrounded by cupcakes, newly baked bread, brownies, chutney, honey, cheese and the best ice-cream ever! Obviously much time and effort was put in to taste testing everything – all in the name of market research (The diet is definitely on hold again!) Scarves, jewellery, signs and pictures were our best sellers of the weekend along with cuddly toys, personalised rag dolls and baby blankets. Can’t wait for the Christmas Fair! (Note to self – wear more comfortable shoes next time!)
